Ardel Trust Company (Switzerland) SA

Ardel Trust Company SA (formerly known as Bachmann Trust Company SA) was established in Geneva in 2002.

Initially starting with a single member of staff, the business has grown rapidly, now employing 14 people.

Ardel is a “full service” trust company providing foundations, company and trustee Services whilst also providing a liaison point for the group’s growing mainland European client base.

Being based in Geneva has allowed the “independent” trust company to develop close relationships with a number of the large Private Banks and the Swiss office now managers in excess of 500 client entities.

The relatively recent ratification by Switzerland of the Hague Convention on the Law Applicable to Trusts means that Switzerland will continue to flourish as a key jurisdiction for the fiduciary sector.
